How was I like as a kid?
Let me tell you guys something, I was a real pain when I was little. Won't we all though?. Throughout my primary school life (to be more accurate it was between standard 1 to 4), I was a real show off and liked to boss people around. In fact, I loss many friends because of my behavior. When I was in Standard 5, I decided to turn a new leaf. Why? I'll let you guys know in another blog post.
Moving on.... I was quite an imaginative kid. My favourite thing to do is to play with my baby dolls (which i still have by the way) and 'masak masak' or play 'house' as some would say. I loved singing and dancing around the house (I still do) which leaded to my obsession of anything Barney & Disney related. Yes, I am a DISNEY FREAK and proud of it!
In primary & secondary school (Standard 5 onwards), I would say I was quite a disciplined student. I did what I was told most of the time.I was also quite shy and not very confident in class.I preferred to be a spectator most of the time and watched others shine. I'm happy to say that I'm very much different now as I am more outspoken and confident despite what anyone else says.
Childhood Memories
Do you guys remember in primary school we used to have Children's Day?. I I looked forward to this day every year for 6 years because it was that one day where all the students could wear whatever they wanted. Of course, it had to be appropriate. Other than that, during recess my friends and I would play this game called 'tiang tiang'. Let me know in the comments if you guys played this before. Basically, we had to move to another 'tiang' before we get caught. If you do get caught, you have to be the person to catch another person. Get it?. Its kinda like 'Tag'.
So guys, that's a little bit about my childhood. I hope you've found it kind of interesting (Just pretend if you don't). Let me know in the comments what your favourite childhood memories are. You too Dr. Yam :).

ReplyDeleteYou looked cute when you were a little girl and now you turn to a mature and pretty lady:) everyone have their own childhood stories..yours are so true and really made me think about mine at this moments.. Here are some suggestion:) it will be perfect if You can make the font size bigger and give different colour to the titles ! Looking forward to your next blog:)
ReplyDeleteOMG..Nadhira i agree with Sharon that you look cute when you were little.Moving on to your blog, it was interesting only that I think you should have made your blog more brighter and use a bigger fonds..otherwise BRAVO!! It was nice reading your childhood life..
ReplyDeleteHmm.. You were not cute.. But, you ARE always cute.. :D
ReplyDeleteI don't think I have ever played the 'tiang tiang' game before.. TT.TT Never mind.. Later, I will look for any 'tiang' in IMU..After that, you teach me how to play the game, then we can play together in IMU.. :p
Btw, I think your blog is very interesting, but it will be even better if you can use different font colour and increase the font size so that it will look more interesting.. Good job, Nadira the cutie pie.. :D
